current market conditions.

2. After an agreement has been reached to sell your collectibles, antiques and merchandise Gatsby Auction Gallery of NJ can arrange to have

your estate professionally packed and transported to our Morris County auction facility.

3. Each auction lot (a single item or a group of items) is then assigned an inventory number that can be followed throughout the entire auction

process. Auction lots are cleaned when necessary, minor repairs are made, and a professional presentation is made.


4. When items that are selected for placement in one of our cataloged auctions, additional research is done so we can precisely identify and

determine the current market valuation. This is accomplished by our staff of experts at Gatsby Auction Gallery. Research is conducted through

the use of our extensive library as well as through a myriad of subscription services. Gatsby Auction Gallery also retains the services and

consultations of outside experts when needed. Each auction item is photographed for the auction catalog. The information for each item or auction

lot is then used to generate our Auction Catalog that is available to buyers worldwide on our website as well as via the social media.

5. Gatsby Auction Gallery establishes a complete marketing plan for your merchandise. This may include advertising our auction in local media

and websites, national media and websites, and when appropriate, international publications and websites. Gatsby Auction Gallery also utilizes its

6. Settlement of auction proceeds will take place within 30 business days after the close of the auction. Gatsby Auction Gallery must receive

payment from the auction bidder/buyer before a lot is considered sold. Settlement of your auction lot or auction item will include a record of each

item/lot  offered by inventory number and its’ individual sales price.
